About Interstate Implement
Interstate Implement was established in 2025 under the EZ Irrigation family, which has been around since 1989 when established by Dale & Bret Anderson.
Dale & Bret established EZ when they realized the need for center pivot irrigation in Yuma County. They partnered with Zimmatic to deliver the best name in center pivots, with cutting edge technology and performance that they could stand behind.
They established their first store in Wray, Colorado, where the business quickly blossomed into a full operation, that served the needs of local growers with timely service and intricate knowledge of the products they sold, which remains a core value across the company today.
In 2003, Dale was approached by a representative from Hustler Turf Equipment and was given the opportunity to sell mowers from the company that was based out of Hesston, Kansas. Dale accepted, and EZ became the first ever Hustler dealer for the entire state of Colorado. With the selling of parts and mowers, Dale found that they also needed a way to service the products they sold. Therefore, EZ also opened its doors as a small engine shop, serving a much-needed hole in northeastern Colorado and the surrounding areas.
Flash forward to 2012, and Bret soon realized that another essential need of Yuma County was an ATV and side-by-side dealer that could sell and service the machines of farmers and ranchers. A deal was struck between EZ and Arctic Cat, and Wray now had a dealer that specialized in the repairs of all makes and models of utility vehicles, to help keep operations going.
Around the same time, EZ expanded to add a full showroom to help better showcase the mowers and ATVs that it sold.
A few years later in 2015, EZ started to sell trailers and used vehicles and realized that a new name was needed to encompass the small engine and vehicle side of the business. On that note, Highway 34 Sales was born, and remains today the largest powersport dealer in Yuma County.
2016 came with another opportunity for growth, as EZ Irrigation and Highway 34 Sales added another location in Yuma, Colorado. This addition also came with an increased product line that added PVC pipe, pipe fittings, and the ability to lay irrigation pipeline. Bret stayed at the Wray office, while Dale moved into the Yuma office.
In 2022, Bret’s son, Andrew, graduated from the University of Wyoming and became the 3rd generation of the family business. In that same year, EZ Irrigation acquired EZ Pumps, which allowed the company to have the full irrigation solution for farmers, from the ground up.
The most recent milestone came in 2025, as local resident Dusty Deland and Tom Ridnour worked with Bret to form Interstate Implement, the official Bobcat dealer of Yuma County. Bobcat is a brand known for its reliability and commitment to quality products and matches the same attitude and goals of the other products sold under the EZ Irrigation Family. The full-service dealership at the Yuma location stocks a large variety of Bobcat certified parts and has a knowledgeable background in the implement industry.
